The original IP owner and licensor of the Netflix "3 Body Problem," Three-Body Universe, has approved the establishment of 3 Body Labs by a group of AI researchers and 3 Body fans with backgrounds from Google AI, MIT, Stanford University, UC Berkeley, UC San Diego, and New York University.

3 Body Labs AI team PodTube.AI will train a trillion-parameter model called ‘3BUS’ (3 Body Universe Simulator). It will then customize multi-IP Universe Simulators for top IPs in Hollywood movies and TV series, aiming to be a generative AI production and content-sharing platform, a GAI version of "Disney."

Developers and creators can call the PodTube API for AI training, fine-tuning, and inference. The API call fees include PodTube’s large model and GPU costs. Here, 'GPU' refers to 'AI Compute Power' or '3 Body AI Compute Centers,' as the platform will primarily use Nvidia GPU for AI training. For AI inference, 3 Body Labs is exploring new AI chip platforms like Grog and Sohu AI Chips.
